About Me

When I'm not writing, I read, dance, go to the beach, and spend time with people I love. I'm a straight-forward person and I'm honest. I prefer for people to know the truth and I speak my truth.

My heart breaks easily for people and my compassion runs deeply. I'm intuitive and sometimes I wish that I didn't feel everything the way I do. I feel people's sadness and hurt. The weight of feeling everything is too great. I write to release these emotions. I write to offer hope. I write so that when we read my poems, we can cry together, instead of alone.

A lot of people ask me when I started writing and how long I've known that I wanted to be a writer. To answer the first question, I remember writing poetry since I was 7 years old.

And for the second question, writing is a part of me. I was born to write. It's my calling. So it's not a matter of how long I've known I wanted to be a writer, it's that I've always been, because how can you separate yourself from what you already are?

Fun Facts About Me:

My favorite poet is Pablo Neruda and my favorite fiction writer is Paulo Coelho.

When I was a kid, my favorite color was pink because I loved the pink Power Ranger.

I'm inspired by music, colors, nature, and you.

I hope you enjoy reading my poems and take them as offerings of hope, empowerment, and love, they are my gifts to you.
